What is going on today

Well today was the first day of my 10 day weekend and I spent most of it alone by choice.  I am now in the middle of a big disagreement with my mom.  She has been smothering me.  I finally got sick of it and told my mom today that while I will always need a mother, I no longer need a mommy.  She doesn't realize what she is doing. 

I mentioned to mom that I was going to be going to Paradox on Saturday for gaming night In the middle of mentioning everything else in my schedule.  She picked that needle out of the haystack and invited herself along.  She keeps inviting herself wherever I go.....grrrrrrr.

I am almost 40 years old, I don't need my mommy looking over my shoulder anymore.  I told her that today, and she said I used the same argument as when I was a teenager.  I told her that it was pretty sad that I needed to at my age.

So how do you tell your mom you no longer need a mommy?

Shoot me if I ever become that kind of mom.

I am so psyched and full of energy and high on life.....tomorrow starts my 10 day weekend.  Besides my visit to Vas I have nothing planned.  Me and my girls are gonna play it on the cuff.
I guess its better then playing it on the hat cuz that can blow away too easily.

I am going to let the girls choose activities with a very loose budget.  I can't wait.

Yaay one more day of work before I have 10 days off.  On top of that I get paid tomorrow.  Woooot.  That really makes tomorrow my Friday and today is my Thursday and yesterday my.....well lets keep yesterday Tuesday. If we are going to throw out a day lets make it Wednesday....don't need no camels anyway.  (hump day)  I had a long talk with Thom last night while I was in one of my silly moods, and oh my goodness we kept bouncing them off of each other and I was laughing so hard that my gut hurt. 

BTW I have given up on getting all these dates right, just know the day of the week is right and if I happen to say that the 5th follows the 6th- then so be it.  I have been in a silly mood most of the time (not all the time) and having fun doing it and corrupting my girls big time.  All kids need a little corruption maybe they can turn society on its ear and make it a little more livable.

Oh my goodness I am out of breath...I got done writing above blog then played cotton eye Joe for my girls and danced to it.  Oh my that was fun and the girls needed it too.  They had fun too.

I think it is interesting the day after I wrote my post suggesting that romance was a myth, I hear about this....the most romantic thing I have seen that is not in a movie.  I guess romance isn't dead.  I wonder if there is a guy out there I can inspire to do these things.  Who am I kidding?  Romance is for the young.
