I decided that a good bonding activity with my 10-year old Alexis would be to write something together. She wanted to write a story. Since I hadn't written any stories since I was in high school, I told her that she could tell me the story
and I would write it down. I must admit that I did embellish her dictation a little bit, but the events and the characters are all hers.
