After an awesome week it had a pretty sucky end. Oh well. I wanted to teach Alexis (my 10-year old) a little about being responsible. I told her we were going to go to the street fair, but we had to go grocery shopping and get gas
first. That even got delayed a bit because I forgot about a promise I made to my brother. (Which ate up about a half hour) We finally finished our errands on this wonderful sunny friday when it started sprinkling on the way to the gas station.
On the way from the gas station to the street fair it started doing a little bit more than sprinkling. I told her we would park for 15 minutes and if it stopped raining we would still go to the fair. We sat parked and Lexy tried to tell me
she didn't mind the rain. I looked at the windshield while the raindrops were making quarter-sized splotches. I explained to her that while she may not mind the rain, I doubted that even the vendors were open during that. I think the
street fair will still be running tomorrow so I promised he we would go tomorrow morning. It kinda sucked because she had been really looking forward to it.
